There are two types of banks in India - 1.Public 2.Private. It is a matter of pride to work in a bank. To get a job in a bank, one has to give a test, there is an interview. This test contains the topic of An objective test covering English, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. There are central institutions which take these tests.
In a private sector bank job, the bridegroom looks for some characteristics before considering the job - i.e. Communication, Sales, Digital Proficiency. Graduation (Commerce/Finance preferred) education qualification is necessary. Private banks branches exist in cities and villages.
